Low Kitten Heel

Low kitten heel shoes will be in fashion for many years to come  because they are being used mainly by young women and girls of all ages. The idea of a shoe with a low , thin, centrally located heel was first introduced in the 1950s.Since then they have come and gone from the fashion magazines and stores several times, until now. Today they are here to stay because they are extremely comfortable and practical plus they are made in many different models and colors. When the fashion started kitten heels were used by adult women only, teenage girls and smaller girls wore flat shoes. It was inappropriate for a young woman to wear heels because they were supposed to look cheap and available. On the second coming of the kitten heels they were also used by young women in their late teens and as usual, there were some revolutionaries who wore them even younger.

The third and last coming was in 2003 when women decided that the kitten heels were here to stay. Today the low kitten heel shoe is found in all women sizes, from a nine year old girl size to a ninety year old size. A low kitten heel shoe is not higher than half its normal height which is two inches. A one inch heel is perfectly manageable for a nine year old girl who wants to dress like her mother and older sister. It is not strange to find in a mall hall way three generations of women wearing the same low kitten heel shoes.

Styles and materials change with the age requirements but still you can find many models that are made in all sizes.  This applies mostly for the smaller sizes, the shoes for young women are available in every style and material used to make adult shoes. Remember young girls have a life too and they love to look great and older when they go to a birthday party or a school event in their low kitten heel shoes.

The heel on these shoes is just a bit taller than the heel on the old school shoes your little girl uses. The only exception is that these are thin and placed in the middle of the shoe, instead of an ugly flat heel that looks exactly the same as the heels on the boys’ shoes. Of course she can’t really run in them but who says she wants to run with them, she is too busy showing of her low kitten heel shoes which are exact matches to those being worn by her mother and even better those being worn by her older sister. Things can’t get better than that for a nine year old girl.
